Honestly atp the censorship isn't even the worst of it. Go to Lemmy.ml, say anything bad against China and see how it goes. Many Lemmy communities are no better.
No the worst of reddit is the fact that it's a data-mining operation at this point, with age checks and a complete Mishandling of your user data (everything is indexed and easy to search even if you set your profile to private...)

Blender is not that bad, not even close in fact. Have you tried learning it at all? I know I have and per hour spent it's far more empowering than other comparatively complex software.
You can't compare a 2d picture editor to a full 3d modeling suite like they're even remotely close. Blender is better.
Their ZCODE harness quite literally got caught zipping up people's entire git trees and uploading them to alibaba servers. I have no qualms with Chinese ai but this specific company is on my blacklist.
