I don't have to ban you, your modlog speaks for itself: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/modlog?userId=3801149

My previous comment was an attempt to make a reference to yesterday's topic where we discussed on that topic, in good faith. Usually people appreciate this kind of gestures.

I didn't chase you here, I mod this community.

The personal attack in your edit and the tone in your other comments seems to indicate you're the exact kind of person who make this platform hostile to new joiners.

I think I preferred when you were talking about how cooking is important to you

[–] Blaze@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 5 days ago

Very good suggestions!

I noted I was myself getting a bit too busy with some communities, especially with regular posts. So I took this as an opportunity for people on !casualconversation@piefed.social to each be responsible for one weekly thread.

That way it allows them to feel more like this is also their community (and it definitely is), and it allows me to delegate a few things

[–] Blaze@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 5 days ago (2 children)

AFAIK, those 4 haven't decided on a new place yet. Or is there one I'm missing?

[–] Blaze@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Hello, I'm here

We're quite happy at https://piefed.social/

If you were to move your community there, this is how far the moved content would go: https://piefed.social/c/eurographicnovels@lemm.ee?sort=old&layout=list&content_type=posts&flair= (so around 1 year old, when Piefed.social itself was created)

Not the whole content, but better than nothing.

For the 3 questions, feel free to post to !piefed_meta@piefed.social , that you can access from your Lemmy account, as any other Piefed community

[–] Blaze@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 5 days ago

!interstellar@kbin.earth is available for both Android and iOS.

However, you don't have to have a Piefed account to interact with a Piefed community, see this post: https://lemmy.zip/post/41125240

[–] Blaze@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 5 days ago

It should work now?

[–] Blaze@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 5 days ago (4 children)

I just did, didn't it federate on your end?

For the one that I didn't, it's because they haven't decided yet (!esp@lemm.ee)

In light of recent controversy and its handling, the twice-a-year FediForum unconference for April 1st and 2nd has been canceled by its organizer.

Hey 👋,

I got frustrated with the friction for users from direct links to all the different instances they don't have accounts for and built https://lemsha.re/

It's inspired by matrix.to - but built for Lemmy content.

If a user clicks a lemsha.re link the user will be presented with two options:

  • visit the original link, or
  • view the same content - but on their preferred instance

Hope you find it useful.

What is Elianscript? It's an alternative writing system whose properties combine the linearity of spelling with the free-form nature of drawing.

It's also kind of like a weak cipher, to those not in the know. Similar to a pigpen cipher, but instead of randomly jumbling the letters, we all agree to do it alphabetically. That way everyone IN the know, can read it. It's a lock to keep out honest people.

This is quite niche, and some might say it should be part of a larger cryptography community. But really it's more artistic than that, it's not meant to be jumbled or rearranged to make it more cryptic.

Anywho, I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do!

I know, it has been a while :D. However, we are happy to release v1.8.1! > > Mainly a lot of bug fixes / improvements. Composer package dependency updates. Lot of documentation and language improvements (we also got Catalan now fully translated, thanks!). Feel free to upgrade to PHP v8.4 as well. > > A noticeable fronted difference to point out is that we now put thumbnails in a lightbox by default. Although this can be changed by the end-user at: ⚙ Settings -> Under "Threads" section -> "Thread thumbnails opens full screen" option. > > See full release notes: https://github.com/MbinOrg/mbin/releases/tag/v1.8.1
