Ohhhh I do that, change lyrics to someone I'm singing it too or about, or describing what im doing while in doing it. But I'm the oppisite I have the voice of a Valar. (Not really)

And of course I know the song, but yours is much better, bravaaah πŸ‘

Yeah, morrowind is basically unplayable to me now which is a shame, fingers crossed for a remake in thd future 🀞

You wrote a song for me? I don't know what to say, other than I hope it's good!

Oh we have some very, verrrry crappy pizza places here, but we do have some very good ones too, well ones that serve better cardboard disks than other places.

I played morrowind when I was younger and even though I had no clue whatsoever what I was doing, I just fell in love with the world so Elder Scrolls will always be my love. My last character was Boromir who awoke in a boat in the land of Skyrim, and became the most noblest, heroic hero ever to make up for nearly betraying Frodo, his deepest shame.

I may give it a chance in the future but pokopia is sucking up my life at the moment and I don't have time for two cozy games, what with Crimson Desert just dropping too. Too many games not enough time.

I've been off and on it since I was about 14 but I'm two years off at the moment, I get too lazy when I smoke because I'm just content with the world, so I'll probably re indulge when im not aiming for something in life

Oh I'm honoured! What is your concept of pizza then?

And yes we have pretty much the same saying, if you pay cheap, you pay twice. Pretty much means the same thing. I do love fallout, but elder scrolls is my favourite I must say. What did you think to the show?

No I haven't played it, I heard some pretty bad things about it so I skipped it. I may turn my hand to it one day, we shall see.

I didn't realise how loud my head was until I stopped smoking, so I definitely understand it queiting your head

Did we just become best friends! That is the correct answer! Fruit on a pizza, bleh

I have everything but a pc so I haven't had a chance to play London, is it any good? I'm absolutely loving having 4 on switch, it's such a good port but it's a bit of a wounder havin to go back to no mods

I've gotten quite good at telling myself to shut up in my head and actually listening 😊

Yeah Rosie, she's so cute and I don't know, she looks like she'd make a great wife for some reason, and Sam is a good judge of character so she must be a delight to be around. Oh Haldir, the unsung hero. I always get emotional when he turns up at helm deep in the films, good choice πŸ‘

[–] CapOnBackwards@fedinsfw.app 1 points 1 day ago (9 children)

Yeah exactly. Why would you put jam on a roast? Like, what demons are you fighting that you think that's acceptable? What's your stance on the ol pineapple on a pizza? And bare in mind there is a correct answer

I do get your hope point. How bleak and unwinnable it all seems, how pointless the fight is against Sourons forces, but there's that one glimmer, that one chance of victory. All the weight of the world on his little shoulders. It's just... Brilliant.

I've always been a fantasy head, but I've never dipped my toe into dnd, it looks terribly confusing. I like that you want to do the right thing, not many people do nowadays and the world shows it

I love my food to be angry looking, I want it to look mean! What I can't stand is sweet tastes in savoury food. To me, sweet should be saved for pudding, my main dish shouldn't taste sweet but that's just my humble opinion.

Yeah let's be honest, dwarves are dicks, but you can always trust a dick to be a dick, so when they're dicks I'm always like 'Yeah well, they are dicks to be fair'

There is a lot of Christian analogy in it, but as a non religious person, I don't look for it and I don't put too much importance on the connection. It's not there for me, I'm here for the swords and magic, dragons and big massive spiders that predate the universe.

Oh I love anything spicy, the spicier the better for me. I try and add spice to anything I have in someway, I like my food hotttt!

He really does, he sees her, and appreciates and respects who she is and what she's about without any ulterior motive. Just another tick in Aragorns book.

The dwarves are the dwarves, I'm never dissapointed with them, because we know and expect their behaviour so it's never a suprise when they act dwarvish. I'm with you there, Sickness Thorin can suck a toe, other than that I love him, even if he is a bit mean to Bilbo to begin with

I am quite partial to some curry ketchup to be fair, so we're back on track after the whole marmite fiasco.

I need to start writing these rules down as I live by whatevers closest to hand works, if it can hold, water, I'll drink from it!

Well you definitely have more love for her then a certain heir or Isildur did! I know what you mean though, they're all my favourites for different reasons, Aragorn for his humility and heroic nature, FΓ«anor for the reasons we've already gone over, Gimli has the best beard, etc etc

Fair enough, if it works for you it works for you and that's all that matters, though I would like to see someone eating soup with chopsticks! I like that, if you don't get my humour, than I just come off as a dick, but hey ho you can't please everyone.

Oh no, the two pans that should go together so naturally clash? Somethings not right there!

I'd say just ask the Witch King of Angband how sexist Tolkien was, but he's not around anymore πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

I'm interested to know what you mean by odd? Do you eat soup with a fork? Stand on your head while eating? And in my experience, weirdos are always the most fun people!

Wow, you really do live a hobbit life don't you, sitting smoking old Toby with your needles and patchwork πŸ˜‚ sounds amazingly creative!

And to be fair, that does sound like Sam. Probably really down plays his part in it all, and just gives all the credit to Mr Frodo.

Or maybe she's a Tolkenite herself and I'd just waiting to jump in!

I was picky as a child, I'm much better now, and I used to love beans, but I have bean related trauma that put me off for life πŸ˜‚

I'm glad you made time for it, as it is a doorway into another world, and one beautifully put together no less. Ha, Tolkien can be quite exerting to read at the best of times if you have a tired mind, so I can only imagine how bad that must of been!

I do have a soft spot for Elrond, and to be fair he's one of the big positives in Rings, I think the actor deserves a lot of credit, he's brilliant ass character and brilliantly acted. I always had a soft spot for Rosie (mostly stemming from a childhood crush on her in the film to be embarrassingly honest) but your reasoning is sound, do you think Sam ever told her?

And no need to apologise, it's the Internet, there's always a risk two nerds will find each other and go off on a tangent πŸ˜‚

My absolute disdain for baked beans in the tomatoe sauce has put me off other beans, but I can at least stomach them if need be, so we may be OK πŸ‘Œ

I tried first when I was much younger and it just blew my little head off trying to make sense of whati was reading, but I tried again as I got older and it clicked for me so I'm glad I tried again. It's good you get to experience it in both languages though.

As weird as it seems, FΓ«anor, to me at least, seems the most human character if that makes sense. Like, it seems he has human flaws, his pride and arrogance, while not being unearned, being the best at what he does, I don't know, it just seemed he was more multi layered than the majority if characters, so Ive always enjoyed him.

How about you?
