My technical, nit-picky editor mind says to lose the contraction in the first panel to help stress the pronoun hasn’t switched subjects.

Hoarding + fear of death + erroneously thinking wealth will increase likelihood of immortality or leaving behind a legacy someone may reincarnate them + thinking everyone is out to get them (which— sure, we are, but only because they’re hoarding wealth) + dehumanizing everyone else = billionaires

I would like to think if the future is ever capable of bringing someone back from the dead, they’ll know not to resurrect a cancer of a person.

It’s just a box that so happens to let you proceed if the string supplied in its field is your password. There’s no question mark involved so it’s not a question.

Dab on it, your honor.

afaic it’s the “for profit” that tanks these places and nothing else. it’s why I went more into mastodon than Bluesky.

One experience I had with an anesthesiologist was pretty much them putting the mask on me, a moment or so passes and I ask "wait, aren't you gonna ask me to count down from 10 or something?" and the guy was like "...what? oh, right, uh, sure... countdown from 10 or whatever." "10-- zzzzzzzzzzzz"

I mean these are good places to meet people who agree on taking tangible action.

After more than a quarter century, the public could emerge as an unexpected winner from one of Oregon’s largest environmental disasters.

This is the worst episode of St. Elsewhere.

because nearly every single c&h comic and animated vid uses male pronouns/male voices for characters that haven’t got boobs, because the cis male authors have been drawing it this way since the early 00s before non-binary is where it got today.

Nothing to do with comfort of non-binary persons. Just to context of the writers.

Rude not to Shaka back 🤙

Ok, if that’s what you think is happening. 🤙 agree to disagree. have a great day bud.

Nah they put boobs on ‘em if they’re women; otherwise the default’s a man.

Again I’ve moved on as OP implored me to do in their deleted comment, but uhhh, whatever drives engagement I suppose. 🤙

I mean I didn’t conflate anything; the comic writer opted for the term rape. there’s a whole separate argument about how maybe rape isn’t the right word in the rest of the animal kingdom because it has weight among humans and saying it’s the same thing gets used in a rapists’ mindset that it’s natural and justified.

But that’s a whole ‘nother thread.

Anyways, yeah, I did kick off. You shared your comic with rape in it and I’m putting in my two cents. No refunds for either of us, eh? Have a good one. Moving on, as you say.

Edit: OP deleted their original comment wherein they told me to “kick off” and that I took a comic too seriously 🤷 just uuuh, discussing humor… if you’re mad for me saying jokes with rape aren’t funny to me, that’s your prerogative just as it is mine to state an opinion.
