There is a recent desant of Russian trolls attacking Ukraine, with some of them even blatantly saying they support Putin and some others trying to put into doubt evidence of Russian crimes (kidnapping children etc.)

I have been banned from world by @little_cow@lemmy.world for calling one of them out. Also both of my comments, the one in the screenshot and another one where I explain to another user that he is arguing with paid Russian troll have been removed.

Two EU officials said the US wanted to keep the door open for possible concessions on the bloc’s Digital Services Act, which forces Big Tech companies to police their platforms more aggressively. The commission has said that relaxing these rules is a red line.

Very good. Big tech companies are not above the law.

A Labour councillor who called for far-right activists' throats to be cut at an anti-racism rally has been found not guilty of encouraging violent disorder by a jury.

I wouldn't go that far but I would definitely lock them up. They are a danger to the society.

Far right / racist policies should be banned and people promoting them should be in prisons.
