Wenn wir Kinder weiter als Hobby sehen und die Geburtenrate unter 2 (aktuell unter 1,4) bleibt, haben wir als Nation langfristig verloren.
Was ich auch als riesiges Problem sehe: die Rente wird von den Kindern der Rentenempfänger gezahlt. Kinder bekommen muss also eine Investition (für das Alter) sein, ist aber gerade komplett entkoppelt. Kinder bekommen bringt finanziell nur Nachteile, Rente bekommt man auch von Kindern anderer Eltern. Es gibt mittlerweile sooo viele Paare die keine Kinder wollen, weil sie sich das nicht leisten können. Wenn meine Generation in die Rente kommt haben wir das gleiche Thema, wie mit den Boomern...

Thats good. The entry friction is really the most important thing when trying to get new users.
It doesn't need to be easy, it has to be nearly effortless and no unknown procedure for people to switch. E.g. writing one sentence to get an lemmy account is wayyyy to much for most people.
