Support candidates they hate, like Zohran Mamdani, Kat Abughazaleh, AOC, etc. Start changing them from the ground up.

It's a long process, and we might not have time to pull it off at this point. But I don't see a better option short of straight up revolution.

That. I can't believe that their takeaway from 2024 was that they didn't throw the left under the bus enough. Harris ran exactly the campaign that the DNC donors wanted, and we see the fucking results.

That's a country where being brown is dangerous, not being straight.

Though being the straight partner to a brown person can be dangerous here (even if you yourself are not brown), so I guess it does work in a way.

It doesn't have to be Klan activity to be a hate crime. FFS.

Seriously, fuck off with this shit.

Apparently, some communities have had some success migrating, so there might be that possibility if that's the path you want to go down.

Which is one of the reasons downvotes are disabled here. A policy I hope will carry over to PieFed.

Yeah, I don't necessarily have to like the people who build the software I use. I don't like MS or Cisco, but I've built a career on their work and I'm fine with that.

Apparently, your namesake (Interstellar) supports PieFed, but I haven't been able to log in to Blahaj's instance with it. It keeps giving me an error saying the API is not enabled.

Neat! I'll have to play with it when I get the chance.

How does PieFed differ from Lemmy? At first glance, they seem like similar applications. Does it have any particular strengths or additional features I might want to try out?

The problem is, these companies are actively pushing that false perception, and trying to cram their chatbots into every aspect of human life, and that includes therapy. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ced2ywg7246o
