I guess the least bad president in my lifetime was jimmy carter. Guy sold his families peanut farm to prevent a conflict of interest. He gets a lot of bad press but he tried. After he left the office spent the rest of his life helping to build homes for the poor.

If you just made it criminal to misrepresent what you are selling then it would be progress. Any measure of truth in advertising would be a plus. None currently exist.
