Can anyone explain to me why POTUS has so much power in the US rather than being held in check by all other institutions, it seems like a single bad apple can ruin the whole country and the system should be able to prevent this? Like why do institutions ignore what SCOTUS rules, just because POTUS says so?

There was a recent kurzgesagt video about this and it really is gonna be a huge problem

Trump told his friends to short their stocks, announced tarifs to crash the economy, they all made tons of money.

Had everyone buy low, announced pause on tarifs, made tons of money again.

I really hope its that way, and not just trump being batshit crazy and having no idea or plan what to do.

They probably dont know any better and only realize who the real enemy is within when its too late.
