What a weird way to spell "timbits"

You're not wrong, Nintendo fans will buy this. As a Nintendo fan, I will buy this - though, it's gone from a Day 1, no-brainer purchase to "when I can justify the expense" - but Nintendo fans make up a small fraction of people who bought a Switch 1.

See: Wii U, 3DS

The Wii and DS printed money, and they assumed most of those users would move on to the new hardware. They did not. They had to slash the 3DS price within months, and nothing saved the Wii U.

"Democrats didn't believe that the genocidal regime they sent bombs to would use those bombs to commit genocide."

You've provided no actionable feedback. Your criticism is not condtructive, and it adds nothing to the discussion. Lampshading what you're doing doesn't make this helpful in any meaningful way.

It just makes you a self-congratulatory asshole.

I have been told by multiple people (so, like, two. Maybe 3) over the years that things I have posted have changed their minds and their leanings on political topics. But these were not any of the people I was directly addressing. I think they may have all been before the rise of Big Social, too.

This is just his left hand paying his right so he can claim Twitter's value is comparable to what he initally paid for it. He's getting fixated on people talking about his losses again, and is getting ready to call someone a pedo on main again.

Anarchism accounts for them just fine. The solution is to kick them out of society.

It's just a damn shame that we've all proven to be cowards and unwilling to do it.

As per usual, the "free speech on someone else's dime" folks think the people running the forums they feel entitled to shouldn't have actual moderation tools. Shocking.

Once upon a time, people overseeing web forums used to have the ability to move posts, split topics, and even shunt comment chains into other, exising posts. But all Reddit allows is to delete, and so this space that apes some of the worst bits about Reddit thinks they shouldn't do any better than the lowest of fucking low bars.

Reddit would refuse to accept (error out) or act like it accepted and then just outright delete my comments

Oh, this is pretty standard behaviour on the site in general these days. It's just a broken mess made by an incompetent company. Their front-end regularly silently disconnects from their backend all of the damn time.

For the most part it's not censorship, it's just a badly broken website that doesn't give a shit about its users' experience, because it doesn't see anything else as real competition.

Yeah. Bluesky works way more like how people seem to imagine the fediverse does, with PDSes being glorified dumb terminals accessing a (functionally, if not forever technically) centealized pool of content. Hosting a PDS is just shouldering some of the cost of BS's last mile.

It's like someone showed him a plastic toy mallet and it's the only tool he's aware of in his toolbox.

Ah, he thinks choosing to take our balls and play with each other, rather than him, is against the rulesv I see. Can't wait to see how this plays out.

Like, I know this is what Poutin planned to happen, but what does Donny Dorko here think the end result is going to be?

Dungeons are fun, but they are (sic) great at everything. Knowing why they were used and how they are useful can help you game elevate dungeons to what they should be.

I thought this was a fun, and interesting video discussing the role dungeons have played in TTRPGs, and what they've been inspired by.
