"Whoops! We accidently corrupted your data and didn't have any alerts setup for when this happens hihi"

I wouldn't be surprised tbh

How could this

I still haven't been told I've been officially banned, they just give me server errors all the time (only on my main account, not when going on any other account/incogni)

I'm currently not what I'd call financially stable seeing as I don't know how much my move is gonna cost. But I put some money towards VLC and once my finances are stable again in the summer I'll look into supporting more open source stuff that I'm using. Thanks for the reminder

Its not "just" setting it up but getting all software I need, installing the games again, getting my whole spiel in the browser working correctly again, figuring out how to set up and use dual booting.

The reason I want to do it on a new pc is cause I'll still have my old one to use until I find the new one set up enough to replace it, so if I can't figure it out in a day I can still have some relaxation time. I can sell the old one after.

Because I just plain don't have the time right now. I'm busy with buying an apartment and getting all of that set up while also starting a new project at work. When I have time to relax I want to relax and not have to setup an entire new PC.

I want to get the new pc after the moving is done as long as I have budget left, so it would come at the same time as when I would be interested in putting the effort in to setting up dual booting.

I've tried using Linux in Virtualbox on windows and use that for anything but gaming but its just plain annoying working like that certainly with multiple monitors.

I was thinking of doing that once I get my new pc. But having to close and reboot a pc every single time I want to play one of those games is quite a pain (certainly when wanting to do it with friends)

If I was able to just have a windows VM running while keeping Linux on my other monitors it'd be fine tbh

That's a comically high and specific %

They just plain don't even want the tourism money

Agree with your Anti-cheat point. I soooo want to move over to Linux but mainly Valorant is keeping me from switching (and I probably have other games like PUBG that might not work on Linux either?, while writing this checked and yep: https://www.protondb.com/app/578080)

The Dutch environmental NGO Milieudefensie (Friends of the Earth Netherlands) formally filed a lawsuit today against ING, the largest bank in the Netherlands, challenging the bank’s climate policies. The lawsuit seeks to compel ING to align its financing activities with the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. By taking this action, Milieudefensie hopes to set a precedent for holding financial institutions accountable for their role in financing fossil fuel companies and high-carbon sectors that exacerbate the global climate crisis.

“If we succeed, this will be a major breakthrough in achieving climate stabilization globally,” Donald Pols, director of Milieudefensie, said during a press briefing last week. He noted that ING, as one of the 30 largest banks in the world, has a substantial impact on the broader financial sector.

“Milieudefensie is demanding that ING halve its emissions by 2030 and stop financing companies that start new oil and gas projects,” Pols said.

For the people who have not yet decided on a search engine. The most EU way you can go is Ecosia or Qwant as they are building their own search index.

Ecosia is my personal pick as its also aimed at planting trees and they have quite a good browser alongside it.

I don't use it much but I use URL shorteners sometimes. Currently every alternative I can find is US based. Does anybody have any suggestions for EU based URL shortener websites?

My main usage is just having a shorter URL but limited statistics would ideally also be there (mainly amount of clicks per day)
