Vote with your wallet, and don't let the FOMO pull you in.

Nintendo is just a small slice of the gaming industry. If you don't like what you see there are other platforms and game developers.

For 80 usd you can buy a handful of bigger titles during a Steam sale. Just saying.

Its cool, your choice, you spend your money as you see fit.

I personally would never spend 60 usd on a game in 2017 and will never spend 80 usd in 2025. Its just too much.

Used full sized all my life, went TKL a month ago and love it, probably never go back to full size. I barely use the numpad on my personal pc anyways.

Fuck all the gatekeeping, choose whichever you like.

Are there any good guides for switching from gmail to Tuta/Proton/Start/etc?

I am also interested, but my ancient gmail account annoyingly still gets lots of important stuff and I would be interested how easy or complicated is to redirect emails or exporting contacts for example.

edit: thanks for the suggestion! I will definetly switch now. Just need to decide between Proton and Tuta :D

Maybe I misinterpreted the meme, I thought the yelling guy is also a Linux user.

Are there people who are mad at other people for using the terminal? Is this really a thing that exists?

Brita is the most popular here as well. I have a water jug from them. While the tap water is perfectly drinkable here I like to filter the water I use for tea and coffee. The tea tastes better and the coffee machine gets less limescale.

Also worth mentioning BWT (Austrian brand) home filtering systems and water filter manufacturers. My sister has on of them fancy kitchen taps with built-in filtered water option and it uses a big BWT filter.

Might not be as high quality as the big brands, but Decathlon has one of the best entry level models of bikes and rollerskates I have ever seen in europe. Since cycling can be an extremely expensive hobby (entry level starts at 1500-2000 eur at some manufacturers) In my opinion they are perfect starting point for someone, who wants to get into cycling without breaking the bank. The Triban road bike range is a great example (RC120 or 500 for example). I have mutiple friends buying from them and are very happy with their purchases.

Not as fancy components as the expensive alternatives, but great quality frames, good starting point for upgrades, free/cheap initial setup and good after sales support in my experience.

Also where I live they have nice competetive prices for tools and spare parts as well.

Neocore games, Hungarian developers with great ARPG titles like Warhammer 40k Inquisitor, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing.

Also many small studios in Slovakia, my favourites are the indie RPGs: Vikings: Wolves of Midgard, Shadows: Awakening, Vaporum

I own multiple Victorinox pocket knifes, mostly Tinker.

My current EDC multitool is a Nextool BlackKnight. Its a budget option I bought to help with some more serious stuff in my current DIY projects, so I can abuse it without thinking about the cost. It has a great blade and very strong scissors, super happy with it.

On top of that I love retro knives, my latest one is a traditional Hungarian handmade shepards knife, similar to the ones here.

Can't wait for next year to make the same mistakes again! 🙏🙏🙏💯
