Same as it ever was, governments sucking ass while the people are just... People... Even EU governments suck ass, just maybe ever so slightly less in recent history and even that I'm not sure of (not counting the current slide to the far right obviously).

I mean 5 people died, and if you go read their first link you'll see injuries are common and on the rise (it's the whole premise of the article). Theyare dangerous, the fact they're really good at it and aren't constantly dying doesn't change that? It's like saying corrida isn't dangerous because they don't get gored by the bull every time.
Oh wow that's indeed way less than I would've thought. Still dangerous IMO but clearly the people doing it are very good at it.
Very disappointed by the weak-sauce response from the EU on all of this, let's grow some balls!
Yep these are insane, and really dangerous.
This is the kind of hard hitting investigative journalism I come to Lemmy for!
Yeah I mean I'm all for weed and for folks to take whatever they want/need, I've myself recently stopped self-medicating with the aforementioned two and it's going terribly, got my first visit to the therapist tomorrow and we'll see if I pick it back up or not after that, but plants can be strong AF, go take some datura or belladone then come and tell me again how "it's just a plant" haha.
I've definitely missed the sequel, so even more reasons to watch both again!
I have a good memory from that show, maybe I should watch it again, it has the master.
I like the mango/pineapple variants or even some of the red fruits ones (though I tend to find these too sweet). But I always have the sugar free versions and only when I'm taking long drives. Used to have red bulls before in these occasions so never really tried the regular monsters, switched when I randomly tried mango loco one time. Again though, definitely not an expert since I'll have maybe 4 cans a year or something.
Lmao the image of a coyote with a belt of iPhones around its belly and a laser mounted on a rotating turret on its back chasing the dot across the border is quite something.
