I thought the /s was implied.

Love: shows where kindness is a major theme (The Good Place, Ted Lasso). Medical stuff where the drama is only in the medical emergencies (The Pitt).

Hate: Annoying voices and spastic motion (so most cartoons).

No that's Oregon. You're thinking of something that was created from scratch.

You don't need more protein, you need more fiber.

Addendum: the only wrong topping on a pizza is the one you personally don't like.

That "show us your rubles" one is fucking disturbing. Some really good options here though.

6 is too many? What would you cut?

Absolutely not.

I'm curious, has anyone collected data on that?

I feel like "the first guy to ever fart" should be a Ryan George sketch.

"Air is exploding out of my butt am I dying??!"

Only if I get 6% back in points.

We were never meant to see this, the devs just added it to amuse themselves.

I was reading about Mel Gibson's anti-semitic rants, and his apology about being drunk* when I remembered this meme. I agree with the meme, that our brains tend to feed us what we've heard from our environment, but our conscious mind overrides that with our processed thoughts.

People use "he didn't mean it, he was drunk/high" as an excuse for racist/misogynist/whateverist comments. The response is typically "you don't become racist when drunk, you just drop your inhibitions and reveal who you are."

But if you agree with the First Thought meme, what if being impaired isn't revealing what you really think, but is preventing you from thinking at all, and just getting stuck on your conditioned response?

*Gibson is just an example. This post is not about litigating whether he personally is racist, but about this sort of behavior in general.

I'm talking looking out your window, what mammals, birds, reptiles, cool bugs, or other critters do you occasionally see?

Feeling bored with your wardrobe but don't want to spend money on new clothes? The Wrong Shoe Theory suggests pairing the most unexpected pair of shoes you have with your outfit to change the whole vibe. Examples include wearing flip-flops with tailored pants, combat boots with a summer dress, or bright colored loafers with a muted suit.

Wrong Jacket Theory works the same way, pairing things you wouldn't normally think go together, like a blazer with t-shirt and shorts, or a jean jacket with a nice dress.

Have you guys tried either of these? What combos do you like?

Anyone got any cool shoelace hacks or styles they want to share or try?

I like a loose pair of elastic pajama pants. When my tshirts get too ratty for regular wear, they enter the pajama rotation. I hate being naked because I am clumsy, and the thought of my skin scraping the doorframe as I walk by is heinous.

Also cannot stand being in pajamas all day. Unless I'm really sick, I need to put on day clothes for at least a few hours or it'll trigger depression.
