Seems technically plausible, I'd like a group to try to simulate such an attack with the hardware pieces involved, implementing this in a proof-of-concept... let's see the Rockland hand recount as well and compare against official results. Until then it still sounds like a cuckooo conspiracy to me.

Things being where they are, and with how many MAGA supporters showed their true colours from brainwashing, at this point I would rather take the opportunity for the US to associate MAGA Republicanism with this dark time on the brink of fascism, than coast into mediocrity. It's a huge risk, but with the number of people united, coming together this weekend tells me there's a chance the people of America could come out stronger than their tyrannical President, spineless Congress and Supreme Court.

So, what's the total bill that ANTIFA is writing in cheques to every one of us?

Effective is the right word, doesn't have to be violent like the other new account is trying to stir up.

Now that a crowd of people are tuned in more-or-less to the issues: If I were to lead these things (I don't), I think the next stage would be to organize non-violent, less-destructive civil disobedience. It is already happening, for example like mass reporting the presence of ICE (which is legal btw).

Violence can be considered depending on the circumstance, but many who are voicing the need violent resistance aren't really showing a coherent plan for what happens after. Sure, where guns show up first, the local police may stand down. But then the big guns are going to come out, and civilian blood in the streets will not get more than a passing look in the goal of clamping down on political enemies.

Democratic forces have the upper hand in the narrative. Why tarnish it? Encourage people instead to use it! Violence vs. Feeble Non-violence being the only two options, is accepting the framing of your oppressors!

More people visible at a cancelled protest than some ego-stroking event that happened in DC...

Might be the time for Minnesota to join Canada, Tim. Think big.

If you want to end politically-motivated gun violence becoming normalized, time to leave the USA and ban guns not used for hunting or within shooting ranges.

Obviously, yes. Those topics were touched on at the local rally.

Yeah, with the official act things clearly the Roberts Supreme Court wants their finger on everything unconstitutional the Trump administration does.

I'll be out there today in solidarity with your democracy. The people are the last bastion of resistance to fascism.

Ohhh it's sometimes fine to not follow due process. Yeah just a matter of debate of how violent of a criminal we claim someone to be!

Fuck off with that. Due process is due process for everybody, otherwise there is no justice.

(The answer is it just broke and there are a lot of newsworthy things happening today)

It was an almost inevitable succession to robbers cosplaying as ICE. If one is deemed normal, then extrajudicial killings where in the moment you believe it's illegal to defend yourself will be normalized too. If this is allowed to stand, or your president would pardon this kind of violence, your country is lost.

The name on the court document was wrong. Only a US citizen and her kids were present when Noem and ICE arrived, so all they did was search the house, turn around the doorbell camera, bring them all out, and harass them while brandishing their firearms. Great job...
