Effectiveness of boycotts is measured by how much media coverage they get. Because the 1% dent in their sales is usually not enough to stop a successful business. The media coverage coverage used to be the main way this worked. There are probably some internet era examples too. I hope. I can't think of any, but I assume.

One person standing on the street obviously doesn't matter much, but it's about being the change you'd wish to see. Boycotts don't really work either. Doesn't mean you should buy a Tesla.

IDK they seem pretty darn unable to agree on anything besides how much they all love Trump. There's no Republican politician who is anywhere close to his equal. There is no obvious successor. Seems like a strong possibility of a power vacuum when he dies.

If Disney can't sue for this, then what exactly would be too far? We're a few steps from being able to animate our own movies in Disney style.

They wanted an enemy to Democrats. They got one, but didn't stop to realize that he was an enemy of America too.

My high school paid for everyone to take some type of career aptitude test. Everyone got a list of various possible career choices. Burned in my memory now is that I scored "region 99" which apparently meant my personality type didn't fit any jobs. Or something. Like their magic 8 ball told me to try again.

Why the hell would you want children working overnight on school nights?

That describes social media in 3 words.

You can bypass 90% of paywalls by using reader view then refreshing. Worked for me on this one.

It's obviously a scam. It's either another pump and dump, or he's trying to replace banks with crypto which are without any of the legal protections that banks have.

If you see a Cybertruck with a trailer hitch, one jump on there by a 200 pound person could total the car.
