Basic dignity will always be at odds with profit motive. We need eternal vigilance and working class solidarity to keep capitalism in check

Reminds me of how the damage to roads scales with the weight of the vehicle to the 4th power, so someone driving a 6000lb pickup does 16x more damage to roads than a 3000lb sedan

It is expensive /complex because the capital class does everything they can to undermine and sabotage public institutions.

Okay, how about a large fine based on wealth, 1 year community service, and a lifetime ban on owning a vehicle and driving?

I worked the ER for a smaller hospital in the past and one evening I was called in because a father had ran over his own son with one of those pickups. The kid ran out to greet him but the father couldn't see his own kid because the lifted pickup's hood was too high.

I sincerely hate those wanktanks with all my heart and soul

Sure, but in that case they need to make the server code open source so game owners can run their own servers.

Or they need to include a lan / offline mode

Any country that allows billionaires to exist will slowly regress towards oligarchy. Political democracy is not sustainable without economic democracy (small businesses, strong labor unions, worker owned co-ops, publicly owned resources / companies)

Sort of like how the CIA tried to blackmail MLK into suicide and then had him killed when he refused to back down?

How many non-capitalist countries has the US bombed, overthrown through black ops, sanctioned or embargoed?

The US is every bit as bad fascist Russia, but Americans are so brainwashed that they refuse to see it. Even if you tell Americans about how the US infected black men with syphilis and forbid the doctors from treating it, Americans will just bury their head in the sand

The US's hegemony is a result of decades of bombing, black ops, sanctions, and embargos on non-capitalist countries that refused to kneel and kiss the ring of US oligarchs...

So yeah, countries like Vietnam and China were forced to allow US capitalism in to avoid ending up like the USSR or Cuba.

If Capitalism is so great and socialism doomed to fail, why does the US continue to embargo Cuba??? Why does the US do everything it can to ensure communist countries fail?

Ehh, I don't like the tulip comparison because that situation had nothing to do with hating the working class. The AI craze can only be reasonably explained by a deep contempt and hatred for workers. The capital class is so desperate to replace us that they will jump on any opportunity to do so.

Meta and Tesla are proof that the market doesn't cull unfit businesses. If anything, the opposite is true, large companies (effective monopolies) will sell at a loss to strangle thriving smaller companies and then will buy them out and dismantle them.
