Got the one with dextromethorphan in it? It's a dissociative with a bit of an antidepressant effect to it. It does some serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibition so it'll fuck with your brain chemistry.
Anyway if it's fucking with your head that'd be why. Unless it's the decongestant version, then it's the pseudoephedrine, which is absolutely a stimulant.
