This comment, or a comment like it has been on pretty much every piece of trump/maga/doge news, and has been valid every single time.

I haven't been to a chipotle, but it sounds from reading here that it offers the same thing Subway and Harveys do. No presumptions, no need to ask them to remove anything. You ask for exactly what you want, and as a bonus, you even get to watch it being made. For people that have allergies, sensitivities, and many of the various food related neurodivergencies, like super taster, hypersensory, ARFID.... basically anything that makes you feel like a jerk ordering from other places, it's refreshing that our order is easier rather than harder. Feel like less of a burden.
Death is big. You only really grasp it in pieces at a time. And honestly, if you spend too long contemplating the meaning of death, you actually start to get physically uncomfortable.
All of life is progressively getting to know death better and better, until you know it on a personal level. Try to fit some fun, good times, and happiness between all that. Maybe some fulfillment, pride, and Ideally love too.
Acknowledge death, fear death, and respect death... but try not to dwell on death, there is a reason every religion has their own fun idea of what death is. It's pretty much the main point of religion, to make death less scary, and easier to think about. If you prefer that, and can get yourself to believe a religion instead of the truth, I very much encourage it. Just make sure to also follow the one simple rule above all else: "Don't be a jerk".
At this point, yeah, a bit. But it is a common racism to have right now, and the first step on the path to getting rid of it is knowing you have it.
Plus, the headline is really leading in that direction too, the article itself makes it pretty clear that it is a real, reputable product. Their wording in the headline is technically correct, they specifically call it a company "you've likely never encountered" rather than "noone has heard of", the company has already been at the forefront before and announced that they would be again in 2025, this is fulfilling that promise.
You are about 20 years too late for any of this to make sense. China tech is on par with other countries now. It is still lower cost for bad reasons alot of the time, but good quality tech is readily available now. You don't have to go very far up from the absolute cheapest unit price to get to the quality either, but of course, it's the American way to always seek out the absolute cheapest product, quality be damned. And the absolute cheapest will often come from China, despite needing to cross an ocean.
A "made in America" sticker also does not carry the meaning it used to 20 years ago either. You can get some of the shittiest cheap stuff "made in America", it just won't be the cheapest shitty stuff, despite being made locally to you, since the company still needs to make sure they are infinitely increasing profits forever...
I think just given the crowd that tends to visit a trump casino, it could be seen as a poor business decision? I mean... underage kids don't tend to have fat legs.... so....
The "feature" they are looking for is that it deletes itself, despite that also being illegal. They don't want records of anything to last because when you are doing illegal stuff, records come back to bite you eventually.
They are using exactly the right app for the features they want.
The real app they are supposed to be using archives it like everything is legally supposed to be handled. For the express purpose of accountability and eventual transparency.
A witch hunt is when you don't know for sure if anyone did anything wrong. Not when you have physical evidence of exactly who did exactly what wrong. That's just a "case" then.
Ah, it does auto log-in at start up, so I guess that. Otherwise, it does just sit there passively. It probably ties up a couple megs of ram or something. Sounds worth it if the alternative is that annoying.
Wait, why? Mine stays logged in. It's been logged in for years straight. What causes it to log out all the time for other people?
It's not saying they are the opposite. In fact, it is saying they are so similar that it is the gain in empathy that is being mistaken for an increase in radicalism.
The price of groceries goes up, but the price of luxury goods is relatively unaffected. So, for example, the price of a yacht will go up by how much more it costs to fill it's fridge...
