Up until recently, I wasn't a fan of rogue-lites...rogue-likes? I played Hades 1 and 2, which I did enjoy, but I really started to like these kinds of games with Absolum. If you haven't played that yet, you're missing out.

I was kind of on the fence with Deadzone simply because it has one of those generic names that doesn't incite confidence, but dang, it is genuinely fun if you're into this sort of game. The elemental abilites make a huge difference and it's fun coming up with extremely overpowered combos with your team.

I played them in order. Actually, I finished RE 8/Village the other day. Already digging into Requiem.

Battle Network. At the time, it just felt different and I enjoyed it way more than X or any of the other platformer Megaman games. I still even have the toys from back in the day; A real P.E.T with chips. Safe to say I was obsessed. ๐Ÿ˜†

Up until playing 7, I hadn't played any Resident Evil since Revelations on 3DS and then the original release of 4 on Gamecube, so it had been a really long time. Which is probably a good thing since I didn't have any fresh comparisons going into playing these 3.

I'll be starting Resident Evil Village

I picked up the Generation Pack with the launch of Requiem. I just finished 7 which I really enjoyed. A couple of the boss encounters are a little fiddly, but other than that, I thought it was excellent.

It's just way too grindy, and not even the fun kind of grindy. Which is a lot coming from me since I can sit there and hunt the same Monster in Monster Hunter 50 times in a row to get what I need and not feel bored or frustrated. In the Invalice Chronicles, everything feels like it drags on-and-on to an exhausting level.

It's likely my own fault, though. I haven't played a tactics style game since one of the Fire Emblem games on Wii or 3DS and I'm probably not remembering how they truely played. Maybe down the line I'll go back to it and give it another try.

Most recently, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Invalice Chronicles. I remember loving Tactics Advance back in the day, but I tried several times to get into the Invalice Chronicles and I just can't do it.
