Defending them from what? You haven't brought up any real arguments for why Steam is relevant in this scenario. You're just lashing out for no reason.

I didn't know valve sells you hardware that locks you to steam

It's part of the banner on the community, just from a different angle

Digital foundry did a segment on it, certain issues will occur regardless of hardware. You might be lucky and not as sensitive to stutter and frame time fluctuations, but I refuse to believe you got the game running perfectly without showing a frame time graph to back it up.

I've seen someone playing games at a highly inconsistent 20fps without really noticing the issued, so please excuse my skepticism when you say you got it running perfectly. I'm glad you're happy with it though.

apparently everyone has decided to hate on this game because of "reasons"?

It's performance is atrocious, it clearly needed more months to get out of alpha stage.

/ isn't a valid char in filenames, yyyy-mm-dd is better

Hi folks, @malfisya@lemm.ee has set up a superbru predictions game for the Club World Cup for the community, similar to the one that was ran during the Euros.

If you want to join, you can join up here: https://www.superbru.com/clubworldcup/pool.php?p=12983074

Probably the right choice

Votes will be vetted

Here's a post count. Rose, Sabre and Amsterdam have been more consistent throughout the year. 62 out of 83 posts from blaze have been in the last ~20 days, I'm actually surprised that he is consistently posting on !Football@lemm.ee again.

I am saying that whenever he revealed his preference or had a chance to exercise any influence in the outcome, he clearly pointed (a) away from LW and (b) away from topic-instance that I was offering.

That's accurate.

As an admin of a topic based instance, I do believe topic based instances are more sustainable for an admin team to handle. It seems to be the news/political communities that attracts the worst behaviour in people. Having instances that avoid those communities would lessen the moderation load put on a team.

I just want to chime in and say that blaze isn't the most prolific poster on !Football@lemm.ee, by a long shot, and I could a name a few people that have been more consistently posting.

He also didn't make the decision to migrate to lemm.ee. The decision to migrate was a community vote, and the instance chosen was decided by me.

Just singular "mod" I'm afraid, and personally it's not that big of a deal. I'm more sad/surprised that lemm.ee is shutting down than anything else really.

Following a successful trial, Bundesliga will introduce referee announcements in all stadiums for the upcoming season.

Referee announcementsare set to be introduced in all 36 stadiums of the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga during the first half of the 2025/26 season. SPORT BILD learned this following a DFL meeting with the 36 professional clubs on Wednesday.

So what are your guys' hope and predictions for the final?

Personally I've disliked Inter since the Mourinho days, although I hope they win for no other reason than not wanting yet another sports-washing project to win the Champions League.
