For a lot of people there needs to be a certain amount of perceived value per dollar. The article said the game is $5 full price. If I spent $5 and beat it in under 2 hours, I'd refund it too.

Normally I just use VH brand Spicy Thai Chili sauce. I've never actually made chili sauce from scratch.
It's basically a cheeseburger with fluff and spicy chili sauce. It's absolutely fantastic 🤤
LOVE me a fluffernutter. I made a Fluff Screamer once and the sweet and spicy combo was amazing
You can't really apply that kind of hard science to a fantasy medium. Superman is an alien powered by the sun, that's the entire explanation for his power set. The Flash doesn't burn calories to run fast, his abilities come from The Speed Force, basically an extra-dimensional energy field. Mutants literally have mutations that give them their abilities.
A lot of this sort of thing is just hand waved. Even Batman who is completely human and relies on physical training and technology, would dislocate his arms swinging around on grappling hooks.
I think for most people the interesting parts of comics are the character interactions and stories, not rigorous scientific explanation of how heat vision works.
Boomers in my city voted against taking a lane from a busy road and building a light rail line, and instead decided to spend 4+ years taking a lane from the same road to build an express bus lane. Which is better than nothing, I guess, except way less capacity than a couple train cars, and the original proposal was for a protected transit corridor so the light rail could just blast through. Estimates for the bus lane are like another 2 years for completion and it's already over budget. A bunch of businesses in the area closed down because work has taken so long.
HP requiring their own stupid application that you could only install from the Microsoft store was a giant pain in the ass for my company when everyone was working from home during COVID. That by itself made me swear to never buy anything HP for the rest of my life.
Magic Knight Rayearth? Or maybe G Gundam? Or Madō King Granzört?
Because it's $45 for a 24 of Blue. If I want anything better quality it's even more expensive. 6 tall cans from the local micro-brewery comes to like $28. It's too damn expensive to drink these days, especially with cheap dispensaries on every corner now.
The Wandering Inn, by pirateaba. The books are almost all like 35+ hours and there's like 16 of them now. They're fantastic
Maybe try SpaceBattles Forums. It's a bit old school, but there's a good community and some really good creative writing spaces.
Pre-ordering a remake that costs the same as the original released 13 years ago, with Denuvo, is ridiculous. The AAA industry is so fucking dumb.
