Talking to other Danes is so frustrating. They will agree with you on basically every critique and point of contention, then turn around and say they're living in the best country in the world, or that we should be "grateful" or some shit. Can't imagine any other population in the world is as high on its own farts.

To be fair, all their hard work bending down to kiss an assortment of rings and boots take a real toll on their bodies.

That could've been my Cuban-led axis of evil if only the mods weren't so square angery

I've played diplomacy with 48 hour turns and all forms of communication

Damn, that sounds insane! How long did the game last?

I wasn't around back in the day, but that sounds hilarious - and more fun than than the very straight-laced game I joined back then (although tbf I was in my early teens and playing in my second language, definitely out of my depth)

IIRC the one I played ca. 2006 was called Globalia. It was super nerdy shit where you had to structure your posts like official government statements, very "model UN" kind of thing.

Shoutout to my based younger self getting to play Cuba and immediately allying with Al-Qaeda and trying to get nukes (they kicked me out for this)

Ah yes, the democrats - famously harm reduction candidates on the issue of genocide. Did you see that it was revealed recently that the Biden/Harris camp never actually worked for a ceasefire? Yet somehow defending them is "harm reduction". This is so obviously just about you feeling better about genocide because your "team" happens to be the ones in charge.

You literally called active support for fascist genocide "milquetoast". Seems a pretty fair assumption.

I was about to ask why anyone would suspect foul play this long after his death, then clicked the link and immediately realized I'm dumb and that prince Andrew is very much still alive.

Just curious, why do you see NATO expansion as an overstated factor in the war? You say yourself that the war is about control of spheres of influence, and what is NATO but part of the US's power projection?
