Barefoot shoes! Started wearing them 2 years ago and will never go back. I hadn't even realized how much regular shoes crammed my toes together until I started wearing actually foot-shaped shoes. And my feet are narrow.

I wouldn't be surprised if on average women's feet were narrower than men's, but even if that's the case, just make narrow and wide versions of shoes and let people pick the ones that fit their feet. Surely there are men with narrow feet and women with wide feet. It just makes no sense.

As a woman, I think it's stupid that shoes are gendered in the first place. My shoe size is in the realm that exists for both men's and women's shoes. So in shoe stores I can grab the same sneakers from the women's and the men's section. Just sort the damn shoes by size and let people pick the ones they like ffs.

Two thoughts on this:

There are probably way more men out there than you think that feel very similar, but are ashamed to be open about this, especially towards male peers, and therefore build a facade of manly manliness that doesn't reflect their actual personality.
There are probably way more women out there than you think that like exactly this personality. Dude, a lot of women like women. Women are usually not very manly. So if there are enough women liking women, there are enough women liking dudes like you. Don't worry. Lots of women aren't attracted to macho-type guys at all.

Hi,

First of all: thank you for this really nice app. I had been looking for a good open source alternative to Sync for quite a while now and I think this might be it! Love how customizable it is.

One thing I'm currently missing is being able to see the type of post in the "compact" feed view. A picture post and a link to an article that has a preview image, for example, cannot be distinguished.

Sync has this really nice layout where there's a thumbnail on the left and then on the right it shows the content type. You can tap that button on the right to open the content (either show image in viewer mode or open link in browser).

Would make this app basically perfect for me if this could be implemented.

Wenn es früher hell ist, hilft das deinem Körper sich besser zu den idealen 24 Stunden hin zu justieren, damit du eben nicht eigentlich einen 25 Stunden Tag bräuchtest.

Das stimmt, aber es ist immer hell wenn ich aufstehe. Mein Wecker steht auf 8, das heißt, selbst wenn im Winter Sommerzeit wäre, wäre es spätestens um 9, wenn ich das Haus verlasse, hell.

Fragt doch lieber “Was willst du für unsere Gesellschaft leisten? Wo möchtest du dich einbringen?” Dann macht das Programm doch schmackhaft aber freiwillig.

Machen wir dann Steuern jetzt auch freiwillig? Und Schulpflicht wird Schulfreiwilligkeit?

aber diese autoritäre Logik “diene dem Vaterland” lehne ich kategorisch ab, egal wie tugendhaft die Ziele auch sein mögen.

Es ist doch gerade explizit ein Dienst an der Gesellschaft und nicht am "Vaterland". Wenn jemand ehrenamtlich Flüchtlingshilfe betreibt, die übrigens vor allem nötig ist, weil die staatlichen Hilfen absolut unzureichend finanziert sind, ist das dann auch "Dienst fürs Vaterland"? Sorry, aber ich finde deine Sicht klingt nach kantigem Anarchogelaber eines 16-jährigen.
