Yeah the US has a population 350 million which is one of the highest in the world. There are going to be trade imbalances because we will be consuming more stuff than other countries with much lower populations.

Just say a few things from your heart, don't pressure her, leave it open ended. And be willing to graciously accept her liking or not liking what you say. Life goes on either way, don't over-invest in one person. If she rejects you, learn from it and move on. If she likes you back, congratulations you took your shot and scored!
