Poltergeist, Critters, and honestly Earnest Scared Stoopid got me good as a kid. Oh also The Willies! Fuck that movie!
Same! The whole family was leaving for a big hunting \ camping weekend, and we were leaving at 2am to get there at a decent time through the 10 hour drive. As my folks were packing, 8 year old me was staying up watching tv, and my mom goes, "Poltergeist is on HBO right now, you should watch it, I think you'll like it!" Well I don't remember if I stopped at the clown or the tree eating scene but I definitely saw both and was then immediately wisked away to stay in the woods for a week... Terrifying
One Winged Angel, Sephiroth's theme from Final Fantasy 7 blew my mind! I did a report on it in high school I loved it so much!
That'd be so much easier! In my experience talking and putting words to feelings and emotions is a huge part of the healing journey. That doesn't make it any more comfortable though. Proud of you for doing the work the best that you can, even when it feels like you aren't

Yeah, I was wrong about the heating element, but I would still run the water hot. Check out the video I posted
Ok edit: your dishwasher DOES have a heating element, but it's not enough on its own, so the logic still applies. If you want the full deep dive check this out, I love this guy's videos. https://youtu.be/jHP942Livy0?is=KOvmqlGaLBekpM6Y
And yeah, the hot water cleans better, especially if you have stuck on food.
It's my understanding that dishwashers generally do not have a heating element, so the hot water is coming directly from your water heater. I believe you should run the sink water till it gets hot before starting the dishwasher, and not run cold water until the dishwasher stops filling. They generally share the same line. If the dishwasher had a dedicated water line I imagine it wouldn't make a difference, but most inexpensive dishwasher models and homes share with the sink.
Hey, thanks! I'll do my best to give it a good voice!
I love this. Would you have any objection if I read this aloud at an open mic? You'd be credited
This is also my guess. High heat causes the cheese to separate out its oil. My guess is the pasta water was too close to boiling. I bet if you try again but take your time it will work better. Let everything cool just a bit more and stir vigorously so you limit hot spots. Lots of different advice being thrown out, I hope one of them works for you!
