Deepseek gives these examples of instances where socialist policies were implemented without violence:

  • UK NHS (1948): Passed via parliamentary consensus post-WWII. No fighting.
  • German Pensions (1889): Enacted by Bismarck as top-down reform. No violence.
  • US Social Security (1935): Passed via legislation.
  • Nordic Childcare: Expanded gradually via labor unions and coalitions.

I'm not saying that pacifist solutions are faster or more effective, but I don't want anyone I know to to kill or be killed. It is possible to change the world without starting generations-long, unforgivable blood fueds.

I'm hoping for "AI destroys Capitalist system, so emergency Socialist safety net is deployed." And then we pop out the other side and only have to work 10 hours a week, because AI does the rest...
