Thanks for appreciating and the feedback!

Good point! The word commodity isn't the best word to describe art, so maybe a better way is to just say that 'I think that the perceived value is on the rise, because of a human reaction to reject the capitalist's attempts to transform the collected stolen expressions of human artistic achievements into whatever meaning the wealthy desire without the need to pay those who made the "generated" art possible.'

please excuse my wordiness, I am procrastinating and got lost in this reply accidentally.

These are great pieces, thanks for sharing. I encourage you to make more. Real human made art is a hot commodity!

I recently received a commission from someone who saw old artwork of mine used in a game called "Abiotic Factor". I had posted it on opengameart.org (https://opengameart.org/users/5hiroi) a long time ago.

This is my art that was found in the game, and I don't have a machine that can run it, but it looks really cool actually. I'm really happy to see stuff that I made for creative commons be appreciated so randomly in my life.

I just wanted to share that, and if you have played this game, did you see this artwork? What did you think? :D

Here are two videos I found on youtube on where to find them! Cool!

Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup

I have been playing this game my entire life on/off, and have the most hours in, but I have never beaten it. I came close 1 fucking time, and I will forever remember the one dumb mistake I made that lost it for me just on the cusp of victory.

One day...

Something I did in Krita. I love drawing subtle skeletons and spirals, so on a colorful whim, I whipped this up. :)

it's my artwork that I made in krita. I have been meaning to post some more on lemmy at some point...

I have art up here if you're interested in seeing more before i post it on lemmy.

I used to like that movie as a kid, but I've had a different perspective on it, and other films, since coming across this video about the "born sexy yesterday" trope

it's an older video, but still relevant and edited very well.

Fuck Luc Besson, and fuck his creations (I don't believe in separating the artist from the art).

"Read The Fucking Manual" (sometimes seen as "Read the Fscking Manual") I remember saying it back in the day when I was annoyed that the answer could be found in the documentation while someone is asking others what something means, how it works, or having a common problem.

I now see it as quite pretentious of a reply and I now don't reply if I can't also be helpful.

Just found some games on itch.io for learning Cantonese. I couldn't find anything on steam, so I'm pretty excited. Mandarin is so much more common, but Canto is relevant and important to me, so this is a great find! I'm excited to try it out because I've been looking for a long time.

I hate ai slop, but slop in a shitpost? im not sure how much i care. i expect a shitpost to be be shitty. there was more work in your shitpost than one of those communities that serve automated slop, so i won't fault a shitposter for using ai here.
