What do you call a fish with no eyes?
Astyanax Mexicanus
I believe that there is a tangible difference between the examples of squirrels throwing sand and elephants showering themselves in water in spray patterns, and those examples of fish jetting a stream of water directly at a target. And (not a biologist or anything even remotely close) I would hazard to guess that there is substantial difference in cognitive requirements for these as well.
There are some really good reasons to make changes, not trying to say that this was the case in the parent comment, but there are certainly cases where this makes sense. About halfway through my discrete math final my professor wrote a curve on the board based on exam results from the other test session. He realized that he hadn't properly taught some concepts and he thought it would be unfair for us to suffer because of his mistakes. Should he have been forced to stick to a non curved exam because he hadn't announced it in the rubric or to the first exam session?
One of my personal faves: Told this girl in college that we were gonna go to a place called Donnie's steakhouse. She got somewhat dressed up for the occasion. Donnie's is just McDonalds. If they've got a good sense of humor (and she did), they'll get a good kick out of it. Although it may take a day or two.
Am I misunderstanding things or is this a bit? Selling an entire dollar store type for the british version of a dollar is absolutely hilarious if true.
