I'm confused, did it SMASH or did it crawl?

Yeah, what a terrible headline. Makes it sound like an event that happened that scientists saw, rather than an ongoing process that's been happening for millions(?) of years and will continue long past the end of humanity.

No joke that's why I don't like heated seats except on the very lowest setting (which is till sometimes too high). Feels like sitting in a puddle of warm piss.

I just want vented seats for those days where the seat material gets so hot, because to get any decent features in most new cars you HAVE to get the "leather" instead of fabric.

The problem is that they are a cartel, so we get in a place where a group of private businesses can dictate who can make money.

I think it's a great idea in theory that as a payment processor you can have influence on social changes. I think businesses should have clear ethics so that I can support those that match my own. If there were 50 processors to choose from that all had niches and different ethics, fine. But we have in reality one processor with finger puppets on asking us which puppet we like best.

But then it won't matter. The problem is that this looks like ass and didn't need to be made with an AI image generator. It could easily be made with any free word processor and a picture of an embryo found anywhere.

The metric of per kg of product, while entirely fair, can be a bit misleading when it comes to making high impact decisions in your life. The switching to tea example is a good one to criticize because on this chart coffee is quite high up there, but I consume only 15g of coffee a day, compared to probably close to a kg of meat, egg, and dairy. Eliminating coffee would not be a high climate impact decision.

Humans work off of incentives and risk. If there's essentially no consequences for pickpocketting and the incentive is quite high with expensive phones and cash potential, the balance is way out of proportion. A good chance of getting your shit rocked brings it a bit more in line.

The possibility of getting shot or stabbed is way out of proportion the other way. That's the problem with America. You can't even give someone the bird when they nearly crash into you without fear of getting shot.
