Honestly this is the simple answer. My partner and I needed to access the same files often enough that we started using a NAS before I even got into self hosting. In fact, really, the NAS was my gateway drug haha.

If you do not have an issue with those views, by all means vote the way you feel. However it should not be that surprising that they are unpopular views in this day and age, especially on a mostly left leaning service. The downvotes are not a "performance".

People downvoting these comics do not want to platform the comic author, who has expressed misogynistic and transphobic views, among others.
