I understand you perspective completely. I assume it is a similar battle to achieving digital privacy. It is a good fight to fight and research, but a balance must be found between moral purity and actually living life. It's great when you can get them to align as much as possible, but you could always go further and cut more out, to the point of greatly reducing your quality of life. Maybe you should be reducing your quality, I don't know.

What is the point of these apps besides duplicating the app space? Does it actually provide any additional sandboxing that the android OS doesn't do already?

AI is not going to change these courses at all. These intro courses have always had all the answers all over the internet already far before AI showed up, at least at my university they did. If students want to cheat themselves out of those classes, they could before AI and will continue to do so after. There will always be students who are willing to use those easier intro courses to better themselves.

So many people believe those jobs solely exist for highschool college kids to get started in life until they 'develop skills.' I can't even imagine the lack of empathy you have to have for all those not in that position desperately trying to live.

What about github? With all the more open git alternatives, why pick the code management tool hosted and controlled by Microsoft for open source / piracy?

Looks cool. I will take a look when the backend is open sourced for sure. Prep for some tough times legally if you continue to use those centralized social platforms.

Look up the black hebrew Israelite movement. It's really a weird phenomenon.

As the above comment mentioned, time is also a factor. My old beater that I bought for $800 that costs about $350 a year to keep on the road keeps my commute time a lot lower than it would be otherwise. I have a friend in a country with better public infrastructure than mine. His commute time by car is 3 times shorter than it is by bus, and he lives in a significantly denser area than I do.

Mass transit makes sense in cities, even between surrounding towns. But as soon as you get more rural public transit is so out of scope. It's always easy to see the people who spent their whole life in urbanized areas by how unrealistic they talk about this subject.

Except that Mullvad is hostile to the torrent infrastructure since there is no port forwarding. No thanks!

Curious, why is Stremio "sketchy af?"

Front trunks save lives in collisions though. I'd 100% rather be in a vehicle with a hood between me and another car, and I say this as an avid kei-truck fan.
