You can blame them

I do.

but you should really be blaming the Trump voters.

I do.

A very significant portion of those who didnt vote were just people that couldn't be bothered. And another significant portion were those who just abstained because Harris wasn't tough enough on Isreal, and I'm sure those people are happy with that decision now. Palestine will be free any day now, surely. Yes there is a lot of voter suppression, but things were way too close with a lot of people not voting to claim that that made all the difference. They weren't ALL disenfranchised. Plenty just made a choice not to vote.

So... I do blame them.

Myself? Welp... grabs mall katana... wish me luck.

Edit: the /s was implied, NSA. Calm down.

The difference is Isreal is mostly only a danger to Gaza or starting a war with Iran. Trump is threatening other sovereign states with invasion and annexation, and destabilizing the economies of global powers. It's not a moral/humanitarian concern which tends to get mixed responses from global powers. It''s a self-interest concern or matter of survival for a lot of powerful countries which tends to get a more direct response.

I don't think they "net" 2 wins. The seats were already Republican held and remain Republican held. So it's a wash.

First of all, fuck you, figure it out. Second of all, if that were the case, that means you are literally sentencing people to life imprisonment without chance of parole with absolutely no due process at all. That goes even beyond what the (unconstitutional) Alien Enemies Act allows. Far beyond. For the love of God, make this shit stop.

I can't wait until Trump pisses off the world enough that they fight back and he is eventually tried for his crimes against humanity. I can't wait to shit on your grave you evil fuck.

Thank Christ! Let that idiot narcissist's bad PR poison every endeaver he takes up for the rest of his days.

I'm guessing he first encountered the word in text without having heard it and his brain guessed it rhymes with "jaguar", which is understandable.

So on the one hand, I think you are going to find almost nobody agrees with your pronunciation. On the other hand, you should wear your mispronunciations with pride because what that tells me is that you were a reader growing up and likely came about this word the first time in text without any other context, maybe even many times before you heard it spoken. Your brain made an educated guess (I'm guess pulling from the pronunciation of "jaguar"?). It got it wrong, but understandably so, and it has cemented in your brain. Fix it if you care to, but no real need. Either way, kudos for being a young reader.

Sehn-tar, because I am American and that's how I learned to say it. How am I meant to justify a common pronunciation?
