It's wild how you see criticism of Joe Rogan as a "meltdown".

I know that feeling well.

Values are crucial. Your politics tell me your values.

I think the most obvious use case for in-person voting is for homeless people. But there are also people who just like it better.

It varies a lot by state. Washington primarily uses mail-in paper ballots. I love never having to visit a polling location. (In-person voting is an option here, but everyone I know votes by mail).

My EDC is a Spyderco Para 3, but IMHO Kershaw is a great budget brand. I really like the Iridium, but the finish is a bit too delicate for my taste because I keep my knife in the same pocket with my keys.

There are other kinds of monitors that come pretty close, but definitely not for under $100. For example, the Nebula display on some Asus laptops, or the Nixeus NX-EDG34S (which is no longer available, but I assume there are equally good monitors available using the same tech).

Larger than they would be for visible light, yes, but not necessarily larger than human eyes. Birds, for instance, can have amazing vision with much smaller eyes.

I've mainly seen this with ^superscript^ notation not being recognized, but I assume there are other differences between Lemmy markdown and what Boost uses.
