“…international beers were less likely to have detectable PFAS or PFAS at higher levels, which may reflect the lack of or lower levels of PFAS in drinking water in these regions. The first study of PFAS in tap water in Latin America found that PFAS were not generally associated with any drinking water source in Guatemala City, the region’s largest city, which lacked PFAS manufacturing industries”

Willfully or blindly ignorant, but the result is the same.
I agree the electoral college is part of the problem, but we’ll all benefit from ditching plurality voting and replacing with ranked choice voting or even star voting.
I read the title, I read the article, and then I read the title again. Pretty sure “against” should be replaced with “for “.
Being arrested certainly brings awareness to the real threat, but she didn’t think she’d be arrested. Maybe the protest would’ve been more successful by going in with a group of women saying that one of us is trans.

ICJ ruled on the validity of Colombia’s claims to islands off the coast of Nicaragua. It’s ironic because the islands are four times the distance from Columbia than Nicaragua, but they ruled Columbia’s territorial claims include all the way out to the islands. It’s almost 500 miles of water claims that are now included in Columbia’s territory. Meanwhile, Costa Rica is in the corner with the least amount of water territory in the Caribbean. This is the recent judgement https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/world-court-rejects-nicaragua-claims-maritime-border-dispute-with-colombia-2023-07-13/ . And this is the last time the case was heard https://www.circleofblue.org/2012/world/colombia-vs-nicaragua-dispute-over-borders-and-resources-in-the-caribbean/

The superego’s criticisms, prohibitions, and inhibitions form a person’s conscience, and its positive aspirations and ideals represent one’s idealized self-image, or “ego ideal.””
