Does Missket connect with Bluesky? Some of my friends moved over there, but I don't like using Bluesky itself.

I checked out some instances and it seems that most have a really specific user base. Are there more general instances like .world?

Why dont more people live in smaller communities , appart from economic opportunity (WFH is making it possible if not prefferable too) in c/nostupidquestions@lemmy.world

Yeah, even in the Randstad, for distances up to like 15 km it's often faster to cycle somewhere than take public transport.

Not a game, but I think it fits the general theme: DragonBall Z Abridged. +/- 10 minute shorts abridgeing (and parodying) DragonBall Z. I never watched the real show, but I think they're hilarious.

I'm working on losing a few kgs for playing sports, so I'm trying to make changes that are sustainable for the rest of my life. E.g. quark and granola instead of bread for breakfast, and no more snacks in between meals (RIP stroopwafels).

That way I only need to change habits once instead of multiple times like when you're dieting, and the effect is slow but noticeable.

I've only used Sync for Lemmy. What am I missing out on? in c/asklemmy@lemmy.world

I just switched from Sync to Boost because of the lack if updates. The interface is slightly different, but you get used to that after a day. The only thing I really miss is opening image previews by long-pressing.

You can also check out www.boekwinkeltjes.nl for used books. Marktplaats is good for old DVDs etc.
