"I would have an issue" that IS what's happening. Far right parties' modus operandi IS constantly lying, much much more than left wing ones, pretty much everywhere. So you have an issue with them correct?

There is a precedent for lawlessness. Literally anything is constitutional now, you just do it and ignore the court ruling. Where have you been the last decade?

Agreed the problem was baked in during the Ohio Compromise and at other times, it has nothing to do with population size because we're talking about a small number of elites, not popular will.

This IS what fighting back looks like. It takes many forms.

Yes. Would you allow a company to sell actual poison that is marketed as a health food? What if a study showed 50.1% of all people believed it was not actually poisonous because of a successful marketing campaign by the company? What if innocent babies and children were ingesting this poison because their parents believed it was safe?

What if all those people believed companies shouldn't be allowed to sell poison. But that this company should be allowed to sell their product because they mistakenly believe it's not poison.

If you agree with banning a child killing poison but not with banning a far right party, please explain how it's fundamentally any different.

It's much harder to be abused when you ban the only party abusing it.

Somehow I doubt allowing it actually meaningfully helps the situation. It sounds like an alcoholic arguing that a glass of wine actually helps them not drink.

That reminds me of the time I bought a CyberTruck, my other IRL Lemmy friends thought I was super cool for buying a CyberTruck. Basically everyone on Lemmy owns a CyberTruck. Really great financing rates for CyberTruck, am I right guys?

I'm only here because I saw it posted on Reddit over the years. Keep doing it, it's working...

You want to brag about civil rights? Here in America some guy filibustered for a long time. Well it wasn't a filibuster, more of a really long speech. But he really showed the fascists he could talk for a really long time. Take that France.

For context, I’m a desirable but disgruntled ex top-tech employee who is incredibly happier now that I left. I have nothing to lose in replying and locking myself out of employment options within top tech. They followed up recently so I need to reply soon.

Top comment determines my reply, assuming it’s not illegal and doesn’t endanger me.

The comment I replied to: "Firefighters and emergency workers have begged people not to burn Tesla’s. They need to respond regardless of their dislike for Elon and the fumes can be fatally toxic."

My reply: "Yes, Elon Musk fuming can be fatally toxic."

I guess they incorrectly thought I meant fatal for him? But why would we be poisoning him just for being upset lol?

Either way I'm getting closer, almost there!

Speedrunning a permaban on my 15 year old account. How many days do you think it will take?
