This is a collection of books. However, if I'm remembering correctly, each book in the collection can be read separately. They do not depend on the previous entries.

Whenever anyone asks which book setting I wish I could live in and explore, this is my answer: The Culture, by Ian M. Banks. Each book describes a fascinating universe with complex politics and relatively unique powers/characters.

With respect, yes, you should phrase your question differently if you want a response.

I read your post fully. At first because I was hoping to help. But in almost no time, I was reading simply because your writing is an interesting puzzle to try to solve.

You've packed several separate clauses (requirements, criteria, extra side requests) in almost every sentence. You've phrased many of your sentences in ways that make them sound like demands. Your writing style indicates to me that you did not spend much/any time considering what your readers might be expecting or thinking while reading.

And, as someone else has already pointed out, this style of writing truly seems like you think you're writing for an AI audience. I can only speak for myself, but that really makes me uncomfortable. I won't be offering any real suggestions about games because I feel uncomfortable. But I do want to offer this bit of assistance, just because you asked.

Oh wow! I totally forgot about this! I found this gallery years ago. I took a shot at coding the "Substrate" family of images in Processing. It was super fun and the results were beautiful.

    Thanks for sharing this!

Right? My first thought reading the title was "okay sure, the crystals get cold. Then what? Are we going to push the crystals outside so they can warm up again, ready to start the cycle anew?". How is "cold crystals" working better to transfer heat than a gas/liquid?

I should read the article, I suppose...

I get way more use out of Doubly Connected Edge Lists (DCEL) than I ever thought I would when I first learned about them in school.

When I want to render simple stuff to the screen, built-in functions like 'circle' or 'line' work. But for any shapes more complicated than that, I often find that it's useful to work with the data in DCEL form.

Lots of folks talking about the diagram. And for good reason. It's a good diagram full of good games.

But I want to draw folks attention to the linked article. It's well written and I enjoyed it.

Woof! This would have normally been a "buy it blind and play it all day" situation for me. But I'm going to hold off and wait for some more reviews. I want to be careful to put my money towards games that I'll actually enjoy.
