Thanks! I’ve got some automation in the works to help make discovery and posting easier (hopefully).
That's why I always add 'em. 🫵 😎 🫵

Also, I imagine it would have been too on-the-nose to name the character Fefe.
Dove’s owner, Unilever, had been a notable holdout after many western countries halted operations in Russia after the invasion of Ukraine. They continued to do business there until Oct 2024 when they sold all operations in Russia to a Russian manufacturer.
They and their companies have been on my “don’t buy” list since the war started.
Not to mention Chicagoland's bestest EV cheerleader, Alec at Technology Connections. :D
The recipe for success here is clear.
Keep finding promising young filmmakers making innovative work (Fruitvale Station) then hamstring them with franchise films for a decade (Creed, Black Panther). If they continue to be successful and not lose every shred of their creative spark, only then give them funding to make more original work.
DBAN baby!
FYI, Sesame Street went public-private in 2016 when they signed a deal with HBO to fund new episodes which then were permitted to air on PBS several months later.
In Dec 2024, HBO/Max called the deal off and effectively cancelled the show. Now they’re shopping for a new home and, with the threats of PBS funding cuts, the notion of returning to PBS is in question.
So basically the showrunners of Sesame Street are at least partially responsible for the corner they painted themselves into here.
I understand they make absolutely terrific farm vehicles that are only meant to see minimal road use. Local access only, so American highways and stroads would be right out. Something to pick up the mail in.
This looks like a fight trying to be picked, not something to defederate over.
