Honest question

After actually reading this article, and watching the "horrible" video, it's really hard not to feel like the author just hates men.

I don't think they should fear the people

Governments should be boring and each government employee bshould have erg limited powers

I want a government that puts high taxes on the rich so that everyone has the same opportunities

I want a government that pushes cities for livable infrastructure, designed nfor humans.

I want a government that puts people before companies

I don't want a government that does flashy new big projects. I want boring small incremental improvements

The company has vigorously denied the allegations in the Guardian’s 21 May investigation, which was based on thousands of confidential corporate and patient records, public records requests and court files, interviews with more than 20 current and former UnitedHealth and nursing home employees, and two whistleblower declarations submitted to Congress in May through the non-profit legal group Whistleblower Aid.

“We stand firmly behind the integrity of our I-SNP program, which consistently receives high satisfaction ratings,” said a UnitedHealth Group company spokesperson. “The allegations stem from an article that misrepresents a program that provides high-quality care, personalized on-site clinical care and enhanced coordination among caregivers. The US Department of Justice extensively reviewed these allegations and found no evidence of wrongdoing.”

I so fucking loathe companies that do this. There are interviews with dozens of ex employees from both UnitedHealth and these nursing homes, there are thousands of documents, there are whistleblowers. The evidence is overwhelming and these fucks go full 5 year old caught whlith his hand in the cookie jar type "noooohoooo, I didn't do that, I am an angel!"

That's because it's all bullshit, they want to REMOVE protections and use the very victims to ask Congress for this

Problem with this and just about anything related to the human body (and a million other subjects) is that the answer usually is: it's not that simple.

The human body is extremely complicated with countless different proteins and system each performing multiple tasks all mixed throughput your body and with all of our knowledge we probably still only know a fraction of what there is to know.

Typically if someone comes up with "this one simple trick", the answer is "it's not that simple" and if someone sells you a simple solution (zinc! Ivermectin!) it's bullshit

In this particular case, (and I'm extremely much spitballing here, it's all bullshit that I'm saying) maybe you could use a virus like measles, use CRISPR to change it in such a way that it will deposit some of its DNA in your immune system to detect and kill the the immune cells that are attacking your insulin generating cells... Again, I'm full of shit here so don't take this with a grain of salt, don't take it at all because ITS NOT THST SIMPLE

Yeah, in that case, can we PLEASE stop using Microsoft and Google for EVERYTHING?

I am dreaming of switching the company away from Microsoft, use next cloud for storage, use any opensource product for all our requirements but we can't.

All health services and companies here use Microsoft and as Microsoft ensures incompatibility with everything not Microsoft, we can't move away from it

I HATE teams, it's useless shit, but everyone and their mother here uses it so how can we dump it? Hint: if we still want to have customers, we can't.

Seriously, make it a fucking government mandate to NOT use US tech companies, make it a mandate to use open source wherever possible.

I know it's a lot of work, and it will take a few years to complete, but it can be done, it's not that hard. What's missing is the will power to resist Microsoft marketing

I'm sorry, but for the next -at least- 4 years, I won't visit the US, too dangerous. I haven't done anything wrong, I'm not a criminal, I'm a perfect stand-up citizen and I'm fucking terrified to visit that fascist country. There is always a non zero chance you'll end up in a torture prison for no other reason than having the wrong skin color, the wrong opinion, the wrong anything.

I wouldn't go there if offered a million dollars, I'm not even kidding as it could literally mean the end of my life.

I know that athletes are dreaming about the Olympics but ask yourself, is it really REALLY worth it? Wait until the next Olympics or just go for something different
