Trump would just pardon himself as if it made any sense. Then the Catholic Church would apologize but also say they are very concerned.

If I were Israel I would call the bluff. If the Houthis shoot down a plane of civilians, it will solidify support around Israel and make them appear the victim.
If this makes commercial airlines think twice though, or jack up prices, that is a good thing
And you know what, if this was a short-term growing pain as part of a genuinely radical agenda that benefited the working class of America, if not the entire world, then it would be totally understandable to experience some economic disruption.
The problem is that Trump’s plan is radically reactionary. It’s going to wreak havoc on everyone who isn’t rich. Also he doesn’t have a plan.
Radical re-industrialization of America will be unpleasant no matter how it happens, but that’s why it’s important that such a transition is managed.
You’d be surprised how long we will put up with it
