Always the spooky castle

I'm just one person but I've been loving Civ VII and feel it is the best version so far, although I've only played V and VI. There's no reason you can't wait another year though and buy it with more polish, the previous entries haven't changed, in that they are still great games and there's no reason you can't continue to play them over the latest version. It also depends on what version those you play with are playing.
Truly the best of luck, I hope your results are better than mine. The experience I had with SteamVR using Linux (Bazzite) with both a Valve Index and Quest 3 was inferior to Windows. It definitely worked, but out of the box Windows was much smoother. There may have been more tweaking I could have done but I had wasted so much time getting it to run as good as Windows that I gave up and dual boot now only for VR.
You're only thinking of public use cases. For personal use, as I'm sure most people self-hosting would be using it for, it's very convenient. I use it for work for typing long urls into a new computer we don't yet have remote management of yet. At home, it makes it really easy to type any link with a TV remote or controller.
Maybe you could start a competitor that produces a similar spec phone for $100?
