Ha, Tim Pool the guy who claims he didn't realise he was being funded by Russian disinformation organisations. Classic right wing dolt.

Bet the right wingers are going wild over Muhammed being at the top.

For those "concerned" it's important to remember these three facts -

  • Statistics means that if 5 boys in 95 are named Muhammed, it's going to be one of the most popular names
  • Many cultures name their sons a variation of Muhammed, but they go by their second name mostly
  • Muhammed has been one of the most common names on the planet for several decades now

I'm more confused by Noah being so popular. What's brought that on?

Can you imagine if Obama said something like this during his second term?

It's especially funny because I swear the Nexus 5 not only had wireless charging, but had magnets inside near the charging coil as well. I distinctly remember a friend using a charging puck in their car that their Nexus 5 magnetised to.

You got downvoted for enjoying a feature lol. This sub is so pessimistic, I've noticed.

Isn't GTAV an 18 rated game? So children shouldn't be able to buy it in the first place.

Glad these guys got this exclusive scoop that nobody could've known otherwise...

It's about the Pixel 10's native adoption of the Qi2 wireless charging standard (finally!)

It's better because you currently have no way to move a file from your normal space to your private space, and this change means you'll be able to if you want/need to.

TL;DR

  • Google is making it simpler to move sensitive files into Private Space, the built-in feature on Pixel devices for hiding apps and data.

  • While the tool has always made it straightforward to add apps to the profile, adding files has been less intuitive.

  • An upcoming update adds a new “Add files” option that lets you directly copy or move files from your main profile into the Private Space.

I'm on my third Pixel 7 from Google.

The other two both had severe screen separation occurring from the top-left of the display.

We never confirmed it was the battery swelling, but I can't think of any other reason. I charge my Pixel 7 wirelessly every night.

Google replaced my phone for free both times (although I had to fight for it with multiple demanding emails).

Honestly feels like the Pixel brand is on the verge of a huge controversy if these "battery programmes" keep continuing. Let's hope Google stopped using cheap battery suppliers these days.

Google has APIs available for other stores to support App Archiving. Obtanium Devs just haven't gotten round to it yet.

No motive other than being sad losers who wanted the fake glory of being the one to chop down a beloved tree.

As per the AndroidDev twitter account - https://xcancel.com/AndroidDev/status/1932248852486136208

Seems likely that Android 16 will be released later today when the Americans wake up.

Reminder: this won't be 16 QPR1, which is still in beta and likely not launching until September. That's the release with the new quick settings and expressive design.

You can see what's expected with today's Android 16 release here - https://www.androidauthority.com/android-16-features-3484159/#android16confirmedfeatures
