Berlin is run by right-wing conservatives, not liberals. The federal government lacks authority for states deciding whom to deport.

You can inline images like this:

becomes:

The upper image shows a circular keyboard - that is a literal circle with a 20 key diameter - with Chinese characters on the keys. The lower image shows a single office cubicle with six of those circle keyboards around a monitor with the center keyboard having a trapezoid shape. I'd estimate there are more than 1000, closer to 2000 keys on all seven keyboards combined.

It's perfectly legal to compress something to a single bit and publish it.

Hell, if I take and publish the average color of any copyrighted image that is at least 24 bits. That's lossy compression yet legal.

Ireland and the UK are solid options though.

Also, it's most definitely not impossible to practice medicine in a language you're not a native speaker of. For example, Syrians make up more than 1% of all doctors in Germany, the vast majority of which arrived in 2015-2016.

Trading is already taxed though. Otherwise no company on this planet would ever purchase anything and switch to gold as a currency.

Just because it's personal data traded for a service doesn't make it any less of a taxable trade.

Tesla is overtly hostile towards German unions and has convinced enough workers to not join any. They have mostly hired foreign workers who are unaware of their rights. Additionally, workers are pressured to sign documents withdrawing from their right to compensation during sick leave which isn't illegal.

Also, the state government of Brandenburg - the location of the Tesla factory - would rather see worker's rights trampled than Tesla face consequences. Their future election results depend on Tesla performing.

Edit to add: As far as I know, Tesla doesn't need to pay any damages if courts overrule them denying paid sick leave. They must only pay the sick leave and for the worker's lawyer. Denying sick leave makes them more money in the end.

Trump will certainly refuse to remove the base and use any attempt by Greenland to do so as pretext for an attack.

He desperately wants this excuse, as it provides enough legitimacy for him to convince ~50% of the US population.

Greenland and Denmark are most likely aware of this and act accordingly. I don't know what current preparations are but I wouldn't be surprised if they built up defenses against the US right now.

"BRB right back" doesn't look that bad tbh be honest.

Fair enough, older cars absolutely have worse fuel economy. I wonder how much this is offset by US trucks growing in size and weight though - a modern gasoline truck may even have worse fuel economy despite 40 years of advances. Although that's not a high margin to clear to be honest.

Diesel has more NOx emissions and significantly more particulate emissions than cars running on gasoline, which is why cities are banning older vehicles running on Diesel. They're harmful to people's health, especially if they lack modern filters.

For CO2 though, Diesel usually runs miles around gasoline. That's why the EU has favored Diesel engines over gasoline one's since signing and ratifying the 1997 Kyoto protocol to reduce greenhouse emissions.

It does increase the likelihood - marginally.

Fingerprint readers always got to balance between false positives and false negatives. If you want to reduce false negatives, false positives must be increased.

This shouldn't really matter though. False positives are very low as-is so increasing them a little has nearly no impact on security.
