After the Trump-backed “Big Beautiful Bill” passed both the House and Senate, one social media user protested, “17 million people just lost health care. 18 million kids just lost school meals. 3 million Americans just lost food assistance.”

Van Orden responded to the post, “YES!”

After he received backlash, the post was quickly deleted, with the congressman claiming he had meant to reply to a different post.

Imagine a taxi that can't operate in the rain. That is what Tesla has delivered in Austin TX.

These riders learned that the hard way, but don't have anything particularly negative to say about it... That's the advantage of only making a Robotaxi service available to hand-picked Tesla influencers.

We’re getting the first videos of “select guests” getting access to Tesla’s Robotaxi service in Austin, and the level of polish leaves something to be desired.

For instance, one gaggle of Tesla influencers was dropped off directly in an intersection, leading to these wooly screenshots.

The absurdity of the proposal is already in the title, and shows how motonormativity is spread all over the world.

Berlin has a very good public transit system, and a few 30 km/h zones cannot be that bad.

I would love to hear opinions from someone who lives there!

“They wanted to show they were gutting the government, but there was no thought about what parts might be worth keeping,” said one FDA staffer who was fired and rehired. “Now it feels like it was all just a game to them.”

The President of the United States everyone... Deserves to be checked into the loony bin.

Tesla's self-driving tech just sucks so hard. Doesn't see the school bus stop sign. Doesn't see the plainly-visible kid-sized-dummy (until the very last second). Doesn't brake or swerve before impact.

I can't say I would want to ride in a Tesla autonomous taxi. It's unclear why regulators are even allowing this to be used on public roadways.

: So much for buttering up ChatGPT with 'Please' and 'Thank you'

Google co-founder Sergey Brin claims that threatening generative AI models produces better results.

"We don't circulate this too much in the AI community – not just our models but all models – tend to do better if you threaten them … with physical violence," he said in an interview last week on All-In-Live Miami. [...]

The Trump administration is enlisting national park visitors into the Republican president’s fight to rewrite American history, with a new directive that forces all park units to display signs that encourage guests to report any information that is critical of American history.

In case you thought cars would become safer as technology developed... rest assured, Tesla is finding newer and ever-dumber ways to make their cars dangerous to occupants (and others).

TL;DR: If you're in a Tesla and it loses power (like in a fire), the only way to open the doors is often an unlabeled wire behind either two panels or a speaker grill. Tesla owners are DIYing janky rip cords to make that wire easier to pull to escape.

How is this even possible? Like, seriously. No way that Cybertruck has high enough miles that it has bald tires, so how is it stuck in that spot?
