I have watched numerous movies where literally all I wanted was to enjoy more of the world that was created. I wouldn't even mind if there was literally no plot involved.

Movie wraps up with a perfect ending? Just release an extended ending!

Sometimes I just want to watch those characters enjoy their happy ending and get to explore more of the lore and the world.

Tap for spoilerAll I want is a sequel where it explores the world of Erid before he gets sent home. Talk to more eridians, learn some of their culture and traditions. Maybe even have permanent communications established between them and earth and scientists and people just talk with them.

I don't even care if there's much of a plot, just story.

Technically there was a movie (Serenity), but whatever got me more of the Firefly universe. The characters were just so much fun, their banter alone would be enough for me. Thankfully, there's supposedly an animated revival in the works - announced several months ago by the entire original cast (edit: sans Ron Glass of course ๐Ÿ˜”).
