Sounds like a self-correcting problem

It's not though. These people take their weapons home and hang up their coat or sweater in the same closet their kids' jackets hang in, they go sit down in the family lounge and get lead dust on the furniture, then they go to the fridge, getting lead dust on the fridge door handle and surfaces they prep food on...
...you get the idea I'm sure.

Additionally, it's low doses. This lead dust isn't going to be causing acute lead toxicity, just slow small buildup resulting in worse decision-making and increased aggression.

If it was going to cause acute toxicity soldiers would have wear respirators when firing. Well, unless it was slow to grow to acute danger.

Reddit's liberal gun owners community talks about this a lot. Anecdotally, a lot of casual shooters have surprisingly high levels, even if they're changing clothes and washing after.

Seems like just being around it has a strong effect, especially shooting indoors without a mask.
