They also took away our conversations. If you're really old you may remember how much better it was talking on a land-line. They call these phones but they suck at being phones.

    In what way is a landline better for calls? Like I get that the culture around phone calls has changed, but that's not because of a failure or deficiency in the technology. I do remember landlines, and I don't personally share your romanticized nostalgia about talking on the phone, but if I have to make a call I'd definitely rather not be tethered to one place. What is it about landlines that you think is so much better for conversation?
