I mean like even taking all that at face value. Do you not worry about the only way you have to talk to friends being discord? What if your account got banned? You'd have no way to contact anyone? I'd exchange numbers with a few of them atleast. Or emails. Having a backup way to communicate seems pretty important instead of relying entirely on a single service run by an unreliable company.

    I text plenty of people as well. It's a good mix of close friends and relative strangers and everywhere in between.

    If my account got banned I'd make a new one. My husband has done this several times lol

    I'm not exactly tryin to sing discord's praises or anything, it has its problems as a service, especially in regards to privacy. I just think having friends outweighs being a (privacy focused) loner
