I mean, zoomers were around for the first term too, right? Short memory I guess.

The youngest Zs were 4 during the first Trump term. And couldn’t vote in 2024, but there are plenty of people who would have been children in his first term and then came of age under Biden. So less short term memory and more ‘I was too young to be politically conscious’.

Not talking about the youngest Zs though, right? With love, my biggest criticism is there's no excuse for those that have phones and can read.

If you’ve never made a vote you regretted at 18-25 I’m happy for you. Isn’t it better that they regret their vote than not regret it?

  • I think there are degrees to this. If you are 20 and your choices are 2 establishment candidates, I can understand you lean towards one or the other.

But if the candidates are a black woman from the establishment and a literal nazi who's saying he's going to make the US become a nazi country and who is famous for being a rapist, a felon and for bankrupting even a damn casino...

Sorry friend, the homework wasn't hard on this one. We can agree to disagree but my mind hasn't changed on this.

I’m not arguing that it was fine to vote Trump, that’s a side issue. I’m saying if they did vote Trump, why wouldn’t you want them to regret it? How is it better that 90%+ of the boomer Trump voters don’t regret it? Regret is going to affect the voting of at least some of them down the line, and not regretting it changes nothing.
